Chicago Blackhawks announce training camp dates

Finally, after a long, spring / summer and hot hockeyless in Chicago, the Custom Blackhawks Jersey training camp will open for the 2016-17 season on Friday, September 23, at the United Center.

This is the first time since 2013 that the Hawks have not held training camp in South Bend, Ind., On the campus of Notre Dame.

Team officials decided to stay in Chicago because most players are participating in the World Cup of Hockey. The Hawks have six strikers, three defenders and a goalkeeper compete in the eight-team tournament in Toronto.

Then on Saturday, September 24, the team will hold its training camp festival sold out at the United Center. That event begins at 8 a.m. and a team of A vs Team B scrimmage at 11 a.m stands ..

Apart from the festival, fans can not see the Hawks practice until Sunday, October 2 when they are scheduled to practice at Johnny’s Icehouse West at 9:30 and 11 pm Other days of practice include Johnny Oct. 6 -8 and 10-11 although dates and times are subject to change.
